DC³ Mission

Moving beyond tradition...
To become an irresistible influence with passion for God and compassion for others.

A community of people who stand firm in the truth over time against raging currents of opposition and who present living proof of a loving God to a watching world.
What We Believe

DeerCreek Community Church (DC³) is dedicated to moving beyond tradition in order to make a difference in the lives of those who have lost interest in the "Church as usual", those who have not heard the Good News and the communities we serve. DC³ is committed to becoming an irresistible influence for Jesus Christ and the mission he entrusted us with. We are a church that tirelessly promotes committed relationships with God, our "neighbor" and each other.   We promote ongoing care, education and training and then insist that the equipped return to their homes, jobs and communities and make a difference for Christ. And we love, not just because we are commanded to, but because we are compelled to love God, love others and ourselves (Mark 12:30-31) as a result of the transformation that has taken place within us.
          DeerCreek is an inter-denominational community of faith made up of individuals with different backgrounds but united in our commitment to become one. One with each other, one with our community and one with all believers who seek Jesus Christ as their Savior. Jesus prayed for us, "May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me (John 17:23)."
          At the heart of this movement is a community of believers who are "of one mind and one spirit" to share the love we have received and reach out to all those who believe but have left "the Church" and those who have yet to experience God's transforming love. We invite you to join this team and help us make a difference.       To God belongs all the glory.

DC³ R.E.A.L. Values

Relationships
	We value, committed, authentic relationships with God, our families and our neighbors. Relationships that encourage, support and hold us accountable. (1 Corinthians 13)
Education
	We value ongoing education. We learn and study together in small group communities that challenge us to know God's word and instruction for us. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:23-25)
Action
	We value servant oriented action. We know that the world is watching us and will see us serving not only at DeerCreek Community Church but also in our communities, places of work and at home. As we serve we will honor Christ's command to "go and make disciples" sharing and spreading the Good News with all those we come in contact with. (Matthew 28:19-20; Proverbs 11:11)
Love
	We value unconditional love of all people seeking to expose the unchurched to the Father that loves us all. "For God so loved the world...We love. It is through this love that we become an irresistible influence for Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; Mark 12:30-31)
